I went through a very serious accident with a friend of mine a long time ago, and she spent a year in the hospital surrounded by nurses and therapists, etc. It was one of those odd things where the relationships were so intense on this daily basis, and these people were so central to our lives for awhile. And then when she went home, we never saw them, or even really talked about them again. This is kind of how I see Jill Kennedy's part in Fraser's bigger story. She was central and a big catalyst, but her footprint on his life in terms of time was very small.
