I like my company. Normally, the people that I work with are fairly sharp and motivated. However...
Background: Our company has a automatic trouble ticket system. Any time an email comes into support a trouble ticket is generated and then a person assigns it to appropiate person to handle the issue. If that person does not respond with a certain time period, they get dinged and nasty gram sent to them.
Today: I am reading my emails and I get one of those nasty grams saying that I am overdue on a ticket. I look at the ticket and it was one the I had sent in on Tuesday looking for some support from HQ and some idiot assigns the ticket that I started back to me.
Come on people, if I could answer the question, do you think I would have started a ticket in the first place???
