[LOOOG with Aphrodite]

Valentine lounged by the side of the pond, boredly juggling and watching his reflection in the clear water.

It was so quiet when she wasn't there. And, if the seemingly endless night was any indication, it would be some time before she returned again.

Valentine pushed the thoughts away, and added another ball to his routine.

Aphrodite silently manifested herself behind the masked man; it seemed she had a tendency to appear behind people's backs. She had retained her regular appearance of a golden-haired woman wrapped in a white, Grecian-styled robe. Quirking her lips, she addressed Valentine, "Nice day, is it not?"

"Oh, I apologize for scaring you," she took a step back as she summoned the dropped balls from the pond, "Here you go."

"U-uh-- I--" Valentine caught them clumsily, very distracted by the woman that had suddenly appeared.

"Who... are you?"

"My name? Aphrodite, Goddess of Love; I'm sure you've seen me on the community, no?"

"A g-goddess?!" Valentine stammered. He's never been in the presence of a god before, or a goddess, or anything relatively close.

"I-- I might've, yeh..." He answered, standing.

"So, if I may ask-- what brings you here?"

"Oh, no need to be nervous, dear. I don't bite---really," she smiled, glancing around to observe the scenery, "I'm just going around visiting. I'm quite bored, you could say."

"Ah. Well, nothin' much to do around here, really."

He offered a nervous smile.

"So... you're the goddess of-- love, is it?"

"Strange place this is. It's really dream, isn't it," she laughed, "..and those masks. Really, why would you want to cover up your face? Ah, and yes, I am the Goddess of Love."

"Everyone wears a mask." He noted, slowly becoming used to the presence of the goddess.

"I've never seen a goddess before." He said softly, and then realized something-- his world was Helena's dream. So, wouldn't that, in effect, make her a goddess?

"Well, not a goddess like you, anyway."
