OMG!
So I haven't written about anything in a while but the situation here with the bug problem isn't getting any better.
Two weeks ago I decided I had enough and started the ever impossible task of trying to find an apartment I can manage to afford on my own.
After searching, after praying, after jumping through several flaming hoops of fucking fire for an apartment I can BARELY afford on my own, I finally sign a lease on a 1 bedroom apartment in an obscure land somewhere between Prospect Heights and Crown Heights tomorrow!!! All I know is that there's a Pliates studio and a thai place down stairs which is a sign that gentrification is happening there.
It was my first choice!
Friday, the remainder of my belonging which include, half a bookcase of books, my electronics, my clothes and my shoes go in to be gassed for a 48 hour period, after which, I hope, it'll be like all of this never happened and I can go on with my life without the fear of being eaten alive.
In a month and a half, I'll be able to buy furniture again!
The only downside, all the extra money I worked really, really hard for this summer will be completely gone.
