The TE project is 95% done. It works beautifully on PS2 (Guilty Gear revival, woooo), and most of the time on the PC. I can't quite get it to work on the 360 though. I spent most of last night scouring the tech talk threads on Shoryuken.com and found what I think is the problem, insufficient power supply to the switch board, something that doesn't show up in most diagrams because almost everyone assumes you want to keep the original USB cord. I'll work on it when I get home and -hopefully- be done with it. I expected to hit a bump or two, despite my planning and best efforts. I'm just glad I didn't fry out one of the boards when I was learning to desolder (Flux paste, I <3 you so much).
This has been a good confidence booster for me as of late, the whole learning a new skill from scratch thing. Next project in the works is another stick mod, my old Tekken 5 HRAP. That will require more work. No native 360 board, so I'll have to hack a wired pad for the PCB. I'll have to drill into the case and install an extra button for the 360/PS3 Guide/Home button, as well as install an RJ45 jack. I'm also going to replace the old Hori stick and buttons with Sanwa and Seimetsu parts. I'll probably do some aesthetic mods as well...new panel art, possibly putting LEDs behind the buttons. Should be pretty beast when it's done though. ^^
EDIT: I was correct. Stick now works perfectly for 360 and PS2. I'll still need to test it out on a PS3, but I need to get access to one first... even still, elated is me.
