Adiemus had always been one of my favorite songs. Palladio was stunning as well and now Sarikiz. I went to the Asian premiere of Sarikiz which was a violin concerto composed by Karl Jenkins and the violin was played by Marat Bisengaliev. It was magic! I cannot find words to describe it. I am still trying to get over the high the music gave me.
I prefer the unaltered version of Adiemus it had a different feel to it but I am not complaining. Karl Jenkins gave Adiemus an Indian touch by adding tabla and the bansuri (Indian flute). The version was good.
Palladio for the String orchestra was awesome! Marat is obviously a world-class violinist. I saw the electric harp version of it on youtube and I think the violin version of it was great as well.
I sooo wanna get my hands on that Cd.
