Let me through, I'm a Scienceologist
I've just heard a mini-debate on radio 4 about whether climate change "scepticism" is the fault of hysterical journalists, or of scientists for making the journalists hysterical. Both sides kept referring to the mistakes made by the scientists who put the Himalaya glacier rubbish into the IPCC report. I still have yet to hear anyone in the non-internet media point out that the section of the report that "data" was in was not written by real climate scientists, but by social scientists. The real scientists lobbied as hard as they could to get it removed before publication, but they had no control at all over what went in that section.
