And I don't understand why anyone would complain about the hockey thing either... what is Canada supposed to do, stop playing because they're winning? Let the other team catch up before they score more goals? LOL.

i agree. i mean... hell... if the women were TRYING to run up the score i would image the game would be more like 30-0

i wonder if we'll beat them playing shorthanded all game again :p that was hilarious. 3 or 4 players all game... to their 5. all game. and they still couldnt beat us.

i heard somewhere that the number of goals actually has a bearing on something. i heard it at some point while watching coverage. i dont know what that bearing IS.... but apparently it counts for something? home in the gold game? something? just guessing... who knows...

It's actually goal differential. Basically they look at the following factors in priority order

yep.... damn goal differential. i think the canadians are doing a wonderful job, but its really tough when there's nobody that plays even close to your level and goal differential sucks, cuz you can't be merciful.

oh well. the italians did okay for hockey being such a minor sport for them.
