End of November!
Yep yep,
So it turns out my illness was caused by an infection of salmonella enteriditis (i.e. a type of food poisoning). I'm still not feeling that great, but I'm going to force myself to go to the remainder of my classes, I already have a two-week gap to fill in terms of knowledge from my classes and that's going to be difficult in an of itself without compounding the problem further by missing more class.
So tomorrow (well, today now) I shall start attending classes again.
Incidentally enough, there was an outbreak of salmonella in Toronto, with I think over 300 reported cases now. Apparently it came from contaminated bean sprouts, so for those of you that eat pho regularly (or ever), stay away from the bean sprouts for now eh? Public Health officials at the moment are trying to trace the distrubtor pathways for the sprouts to see exactly which ones need to be recalled to avoid more cases of salmonella.
Of course, this whole illness put me out of comission pretty much for the second half of november, which screwed with my NaNoWriMo efforts. Long story short, both of them bombed, big time.
And, that's about it for the last 10 days. I'll probably volunteer to help out with my MPs campaign over the xmas break. I enjoy volunteering for campaigns, a lot of grunt work without much thought.
