VACATION!!!!!!!
I'm finished with my eighth term of Computer Engineering Technology at DeVry University in Irving, Texas as of Wednesday, February 25, 2004! I AM SO HAPPY!
This term was a pure asskick =) Although it was tough, I did learn a decent amount of stuff I had no idea existed. Even though my history and networking profs screwed me out of grades I deserved, I'm actually not as pissed off as I should be. Perhaps because nearly a dozen students are going to dispute the history grade (that class was total bs. 15 weeks and we did not receive a single paper back), who knows. Other than that, I actually had a pretty decent term. At worst I'm facing a 3.5GPA, at best a 3.67, which could move my cumulative GPA to either 3.59 or 3.61, respectively, from a 3.60. In other words, it doesn't matter much!
Holy shit, I'm going into my final term now. I'm actually sort of scared to go into the real world. I don't see myself as a professional, but I guess I have to grow up sometime, no? My whole life I've been a kid, and to a large degree I still am. Maybe this is exactly what I need to get my life going in a good direction; I shudder to think how great that could be. Probably more than I can imagine =)
Ok, I wasn't lying when I said in a comment that I had been drinking tonight, and I'm amazed I didn't make any typos (as far as I know), so on a great note I will end this here. Oh yea, and that girl I've cryptically mentioned before blows my mind. I should be so lucky if I would only take the initiative...
