Rakuen update mumbles
Just a quick spammish post to mention some of Rakuen's updates in recent weeks...woot :D Sotsugyou M geeking again.
Firstly...
I finished translating another chapter of the PLUS manga. I love this chapter very much (okay, the Takagi bit kind of annoys me, but the Arai and Nakamoto bit is love). Nakamoto has angst with his Pa. Arai has a solution. Nakamoto wears a tux. It's all good.
Oretachi no Senritsu
It's my goal eventually to translate in some vein or form all of the PLUS manga volumes (something like fifteen chapters) since they're not still in print, not printed in English and noone has scanlated them. I don't have the technology or the knowhow to scanlate. But my Japanese is about good enough to translate, so that's what I'll do.
For anyone interested, the other chapter I've already translated is the (are they, aren't they) Arai and Kawazoe past and present chapter Ienakatta Kotoba where Arai tries to pretend he isn't interested one bit in his old senpai's return to Japan, and Mikimaro decides getting Arai to pierce his ear is a good way of marking 'his' territory (heh).
My translation disclaimer is: I'm only doing this because a: its good practice for my language skills and b: noone else has done it already. I'm not a native Japanese speaker so there may be some errors. I don't mind corrections from those more knowledgeable than me if anyone has the volumes to hand to compare from.
Other Rakuen updates include several additions to the lyric pages, particularly Midorikawa Hikaru's section since half of the COOL lyrics are now up (some translated) as well as his BBC lyrics. Okiayu Ryoutarou's Byakuya song is also there now too. Also his Nakago song. Both translated also.
Summaries for the first original novel stories are up. Very odd stories. Yuusuke dates a ghost. (sort of).
Think that's about it :D Now I have a better scanner, I hope to have more manga image scans and so on in the not so distant future also ^_^. I have added a few that amused me, including Takagi's entry in the "sleep-kiss manga competition" (although he's definitely bettered by HaruToki's Minamoto no Yorihisa still in every regard...) Perhaps Takagi gets extra points considering his would be partner is male mind you ^_^.
