Bleach Beat Collections: random musings
So this morning I was listening to random Bleach character songs.
Obviously that includes Byakuya's - Okki at his best. Actually, when I listen to it, it reminds me most of the song that he sang for Nakago in the FY Drama CDs. It's a very Byakuya kind of track - all pensive and serious - and maybe that's why I'm making the connection. It certainly doesn't sound at all like the songs he did for HaruToki or M or anything like that. Which is good :D
I'm not really a fan of female seiyuu songs, but Orikasa Fumiko's Rukia ones are pretty good. I guess she's not as high-pitched and squeaky as some :S
Yamada Hanatarou (Miyata Kouki). Hehehe :D This amused me no end. "Hanatarou Desu!" Just for fun I played that then played one of Benkei's tracks for comparison. The difference is quite frightening. Hanatarou makes Shimon seem less cutesy. Seriously. So funny.
Madono Mitsuaki should never be allowed to sing, however. This opinion is only strengthened by his 'Kon' moments ^_^.
Hitsugaya's song (Paku Romi)...erm...I think maybe he just hit puberty ^_^ *lol*
Tachiki Fumihiko's Kenpachi song is about as hardcore as Renji's one with the latin name I can't spell right at the moment. I love Renji's songs, so obviously I love Kenpachi's as well. I don't care if they're mostly shouting or whatever. I still love them. It's also quite fun listening to Tachiki-san do something other than Victor/2Hearts :P
And...
I never thought I'd ever say this...
But I'm voluntarily listening to Namikawa Daisuke singing.
Who would've thought that his Ulquiorra songs could make decent listening. Maybe I've been too biased against him after a few (?!) ropey live moments at Neoromance Festas. I've always known he was a good Seiyuu but as a singer...?
Yet I really like his 'Our World' song.
My favourite song from the Bleach Collection is still Aesthetics and Identity, however!
