Hello Guests.
I am pleased to inform you that the rain on the island has stopped and we have been able to restore power to much of the island.
Unfortunately, residential buildings A-E have been partially flooded due to the heavy storms.
However, we have been able to open building F for the time being. The temporary housing list will follow later in this missive.
To help members adjust to the new arrangements, we thought it prudent to arrange people who come from the same world in the same rooms or near to each other. Those who are the sole guests of their world have been placed in vacant spots.
Instead of the single beds in each room, all rooms have bunk beds and there are a few that have an additional single bed for the extra person. The first two people listed will be placed in one room and the latter two or three in the other room.
Because Building F has not been used in the last half century or so, understandably, it's facilities are somewhat archaic. We've attempted to update it as much as possible under such short notice but major structural features are still original. To that end, all stoves are run on gas and there are no televisions or microwaves, as the outdated power grid in the building would be unable to take such massive surges of electricity.
To that end, we have supplied extra batteries for your laptops and confiscated the power cords. When one battery dies, simply place it outside your room and switch it for one of the new ones located in the living room.
We would also like you to ignore any odd sounds you may hear coming from the building. Any screams you may hear are simply the sounds of the water running through the pipes and any loud footsteps are simply the building adjusting to being used for the first time in so many years.
We hope that the accommodations are satisfying and please don't hesitate to direct any complaints to the staff.
