Well hay evrabody! Still hangin out here in SLC. It's gone pretty well so far, though our class only has 2 people in it, which is really strange. Luckily the one other guy (Dan) is one of the ones that I hung out with during my first trip out here, so we already know each other pretty well. We've been trying to get the new hire class to go out with us, but they seem dead-set on staying at the hotel. I guess they haven't gotten the hang of that whole "expense account" thing...
Anyways, it snowed about 7 or 8 inches the other night, but I didn't get any pictures this time. Made for interesting driving (for me), but Dan didn't even blink at it. He's from Wisconsin, and apparently the amount of snow we got would be considered a "flurry". In Georgia, it would be a "Blizzard of Motherfucking Apocalyptic Proportion", and Atlanta would simply shut down. The mountains are in full Bob-Ross-Eat-Your-Heart-Out glory, especially near sunset.
I've only got a couple of days left, and I'm excited to be coming home soon. It's been really nice, but enough is enough. At least til next month ;)
Oh, and I just saw a news story about a meteorite that fell in Oregon the other night. They showed a picture of the chunk they pulled out of the ground, and said "this is a classic iron meteor". My first thought was "Oh my god, do they know how many magic swords they could make from that??". I'm not even kidding, that was absolutely the first thing I thought. What a nerd.
