I am just writing something here to let everyone know I'm still kicking. My mom needs to get some surgery done and that is scaring me shitless. She needs to have a hysterectomy. So, I am trying to figure out how to get enough time off of work to be of some help to her. I'm no nurse; but I can cook n' clean! Not too much happening otherwise. I

Never downplay the importance of cooking and cleaning for someone recovering from surgery! They are just as important as nursing. I remember how my mum was after her hysterectomy. I hope your mother does equally as well as mine did. (She was back at work after about 6 weeks)
