Towel Day and Wear Green Day.

Friday was Towel Day, a day in which fans of Douglas Adams are encouraged to carry a towel in some conspicuous way, for example, slung over the shoulder. I'm a big fan of DNA, as Douglas is affectionately known, but it's difficult to walk around in public with a towel. People look at you. Strangely. ... and I have an unequivocal towel fetish. I feel no shame is stealing other peoples' towels, but only if i feel that the towel isn't been treated properly... anyway, needless to say it still might have been hard to walk around with my favourite blue-boy draped over my shoulders, although I did play golf on friday which means that I did carry a golf towel through 18 treacherous holes of Papwa Sewgolum...

... hmmmmm, back to my original thought for the post. I found the Hitch-hiker's series absolutely amazing, and was thoroughly impressed with Adams's writing style. Each book was more interesting than the next, and I too think "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish" is my favourite. Once I've finished my lastest book (Dracula - the original unabridged version) I'm definately reading it again.
