Romeo & Juliet fight scene
I'm in the middle of sewing 20 or so pairs of spandex parti-colored pants, and I'm going to need to get more. The Capulets are in red and yellow stripes, and the Montagues are in blue and lavender for the fight scene. Which will play well with Juliet's robe for the bedroom scene between her and her parents, which is going to be lilac (the subtle "siding" with Romeo's family)
I'm still amazed at myself that I was able to get my serger working again after letting it sit in the closet for about 10 years.
These are going together SO fast. It's just 3 seams and poof! I'm done (well hemming and setting in the waistband will be for another day, or better yet, for someone else to do!).
The way this play is going, I think there are more than 21 costumes. Sigh.
If it's not raining at some point this weekend, I will hang them all on the clothes line and photograph them :)
