Yay/Suck

Yay - Knitting at lunch with
cardamom_23 over tea at the hotel beside our office. Finally got the sole of one slipper finished:)
Suck - Having a bad, flyaway hair day. In my next life I want a dropd-dead gorgeous body and good hair. :p
Yay - James' contract got extended, so bodes well for our finances over the holidays! :)
Suck - James' contract got extended, so I'm going to be working 10 hour days for another month. :p
Yay - Nice fizzy email from a friend. :)

Yay - James brought me new headphones yesterday so I can have music to listen to at work again!! :)
Yay - Pat who sits behind me at work let me have some hot pepper jelly for my veggie patties at lunch. :)
YAY - DOWN 20 POUNDS!!!!! :) :) :) That's a big one. Between kicking salt out of my diet, and working on the "Eat to Live" program, I've been feeling much more *ahem* 'energetic' as well as awake. Plus fitting into last summer's jeans is nice. Once I can get into post-surgery jeans I will be -really- happy.
Yay - Ordered new strings for my guitar. I've felt like playing a lot lately, but I lost my G-string (yy, I know I know). :)
Yay - Mending slightly stressed relationship with
serenity_1. But if you can't talk to your sister, who -can- you talk to? :)
Suck - Floor in kitchen is not, in fact, water-damaged. Apparently the builder is suing the floor putter inners for using the wrong type of adhesive, therefore screwing up the majority of the floors in the neighbourhood. :( So we are getting them to rip up the floor but not replace the nasty linoleum. We're going to put down tile. James' brother has a tile cutter, and we can lay the tile ourselves. We're waffling over putting tile all the way to the living room, or extending hardwood into the dining room portion.
Yay - I think we've picked out a new couch! We are going to go buy it this weekend. It's a sectional with a sleeper sofa in one arm. :)
Suck - I still can't get a copy of Elizabeth's birth certificate. I'm going to have to go down to Atlanta, walk into Vital Statistics, drop trou and show them my C-sec scar. And if I didn't have a baby, I'd like all that cash back that I gave the hospital, kthx. :p
Suck - The guild on WoW is still driving me nuts. Well, just some of the guild. Ok, my family. *sigh* :p Twisting Nether is starting to look good.
