I am so tired, I could curl up under my desk and sleep, and the sound of the elevator continually beeping (I sit right outside the lobby, you see) wouldn't keep me awake. The Tylenol PM didn't work quite as well as it did yesterday... I woke up a couple of times during the night, and I feel really groggy today. However, I have a nice cup of tea that I'm hoping will wake me up soon. :)
I tried knitting some last night, but clearly I shouldn't have. Despite the fact that I have several projects on needles right now, I cast on for the Knit for Her Cure scarf. It's so long (being knit lengthways) that I had to use a circular, but I've never knit flat on circulars. And I was watching The Closer on television and not paying attention to the fact that I was supposed to be knitting flat, so I have the start of a nice, HUGE circular thing.
Oops.
Discouraged, I set that aside for future frogging and cast on a silly, puffy scarf for Cosmo,
twelveoak's daughter, for a Christmas gift (after I looked at my list last night, and realised that a) it was huge and b) there were only a few months before Christmas!). About a dozen rows in, I realized that I had cast on twice as many stitches as I should have. I was playing WoW at the time, and on a long gryphon flight to Booty Bay but obviously I can't fly and knit at the same time, especially not while on sleepy pills. :D So frogging for that tonight. I didn't even manage anything productive last night, as we went out for dinner (James had been begging for 'real pizza' for a week, as a 'we finally got moved in' meal. The pizza was marginal, and the service was downright shoddy. Bertucci's next time, for real pizza. Tonight we have dinner plans with some new friends, so I have to at least cook dinner and clean up. Slight productive plans. :)
