Baby update
I spent last Saturday night in the hospital because my blood pressure was up and I had to be monitored over night. I saw the doctor on Monday and then Monday night ended up back in the hospital (for BP again) until Tuesday around noon. My pressure goes up but it doesn't stay up for long so they haven't been too awfully concerned. I saw the doctor again today and he's more concerned than before... now I have swelling in my feet, ankles and hands and my BP is staying more elevated than before. He has me doing kick counts on the baby (how many times he moves in an hour) and he told me to keep monitoring my BP. If it keeps going up I'll be put into the hospital and they will try to induce labor. The only problem with that is I'm barely dilated and it's not favorable. If they try to induce and my body doesn't cooperate, they'll end up having to do a C-section. I'm basically on bedrest until my appointment on Monday. We're hoping I'll have dilated more and he can go ahead and induce then. So keep me in your thoughts and prayers that my BP will not increase over the weekend and my little guy will keep moving a lot so we're not back in the hospital until at least Monday.
