I tried to post most of this a few days ago.
Because it's frickin hot and my basement is cold, I'm going to write in my LJ.
I'll just write about yesterday.
Work was lame and dead, all I sold was a waterbed mattress and a power cord because that's all my two customers in 7 hours wanted. After work I came home and took a shower (still no air conditioning) and then Jake called and was like let's go mini golfing.
Even though it was 95 or so, I went. Let's just say that mini golfing isn't my forte. I was 14 over par, BUT I got a hole in one and a frickin amazing shot. Allow me to elaborate. I shot the ball into a bush and Jake said I had to play it where it lied/lay? (whatever) so I hit it up and it went right in the hole. I AM Tiger Woods.
Then I came home and ate dinner and no sooner Henning called me and asked to hang out. So we chilled at his house with Jeffers and Sara and looked at his pictures from Wyoming. When I was in Wyoming, it was ugly as fuck. Wherever he was was beautiful.
Later I picked up Kim and we all went to Denny's and met Jake & Eric Kron and Donny Heinzelmann. After we sat down, Andy Craig, Cheyne Trost and Danny Kimpel sat down in the booth next to us. That produced some very interesting conversations, mostly of the "would-you-rather" nature. By interesting I mean either fucking hilarious or making me want to fucking puke/gag/both.
Also Eric Kron got one of the best burns on me ever.
Anyway, I don't even remember what day that was from, but yesterday I came back from going to a party in La Crosse with Scott and Sara. It was a lot of fun and I was glad to see Dave because I miss him. Seeing Runtas and Guido was great too. I don't enjoy WOP. It tastes good but makes me feel not so good. As per Lax protocol, we went out to breakfast at Perkins and then came home. Sara was taking a nap so S. Jeffs and I talked about politics for the whole 3 hours. It was really cool, I have definitely never talked to Scott that long in my life. A couple days ago there was a good party at Erich's house. The day after that I hung out at his dad's place w/Jack and Dan and Dan's new beagle puppy Rocko who is the cutest thing in the world. We watched RoboCop...holy shit, that movie is violent. I thought it was going to be some dorky sci-fi movie like Short Circuit.
Today I worked and it was a lot of fun. We're having an employee dinner next week at the Olive Garden which I'm looking forward to. Tonight my mom and I are going shopping at Kohl's because we have about 40 coupons so hopefully I can pick up some sweet stuff for my apartment. I got this 400 Thread Count Down comforter and it is soooo nice.
Not to tout P. Matt too much....but we're closing out a lot of futon mattresses and frames and we got some really sweet new couches called click-clacks in. http://www.midamericafurnishings.com/click-clack_armlg.jpg that's the picture. I'll hook anybody up with the friends & family discount as long as I know your name. Anyway I'm probably getting the click clack for my place because I think it's freakin sweet and I'm sort of obsessed with microsuede.
