Hmm....nice tree. Think I'll stay a while...
...yes, I am now employed full-time with the American Council on Education. It's a three-year contract, full benefits, etc...paying more than I asked for. It's a place I worked at twice while freelancing, so they knew me when I applied for the job, and I think it was those previous occasions that sealed the deal for me. Very excited; looking forward to the challenge.
I have one week left as a house husband, doing chores and enduring the demands of kitties. I shall savor it.
I shall also make sure the last episodes of my podcast are recorded and set aside for release...with the new job comes a new allocation of time. Book Two of the story will come out at some point in the future, and once it starts, it'll be a weekly release until the end. But with less time to work with, I have to get a good backlog of episodes written before I resume that cycle again.
My WoW account times out just about when I start my job, which is fine by me. Once I get into the routine of this job, if I feel there's enough free time for some digital carnage, I'll turn the account back on and roam the lands of Northrend once more. But for the time being, my druid is feeling the need to hibernate...
