It's not really an 'issue,' per se, but I'm always interested to see how candidates treat or talk about teenagers and young adults. Teenagers can't vote but are on the cusp of it and many young adults can vote and don't (thought they came out in record numbers for the 04 election), so candidates don't feel as obligated to them and often ignore the issues they care about. Yet, a lot of candidates will go on and on about what they think is best for "America's youth" or whatever. I have a more faith in the candidates that are open with the younger generations and actually talk about their concerns rather than the candidats that say they care about America's "young people" but don't ever what those "young people" want.
