Of Mice and Men. And Cathedrals.

I've started up a journal,
sum_summus_mus, to put up my creative writing. If anyone's remotely interested in it, let me know and I'll friend you. Decided to keep with the Romans and animals theme with the name - it means "I am the top mouse", and its a palindrome.

I nearly saw another concert at the Cathedral today. They were warming up, and I sort of got sidetracked and didn't go back for the actual thing. I love walking into the Cathedral and hearing singing. They could sing anything and that vaulted roof would make the echoes sound amazing. In fact I like it when its all hushed too, I don't know how its got such an awesome atmosphere in there. My first thought is that a thousand years of people worshipping God in there has done it, but I really don't think it works like that. Maybe its all in my head, I just know that people have worshipped God there for a thousand years, and its full of history, and my imagination provides the rest. But I reckon most people who visit feel the same. There's got to be a reason it's nicer to pray in there than in my bedroom. But I don't know what it is.

I'm writing in the public library and I just saw one of the guys from Crossline, and I feel really bad for not saying hi. I was going to go over when I finished, but he left first. He went right past me but I didn't want to call out because its all quiet down here. And now I'm hoping he didn't see me and think I did it because I didn't want to say hi to a homeless person in public. Uh. I should've just said hello. Feel like an idiot now, thought I'd share.
