Today's discovery
Today's discovery is that my favourite movies bore me. I can't watch them any more because I've seen them too many times. I fell asleep in The Empire Strikes Back, and wandered in and out of the room through Fellowship of the Ring.
Yeah those are two of my favourite movies. Or they were, until today, when they really bored me most of the way through. Maybe I'm growing out of the geek phase after 20 years.
Nah.
Doesn't happen with books, because I can just skim read bits I know by heart, or skip out the scenery shots. But it's kind of sad I won't be able to watch those movies for maybe ten years, until they get nostalgia appeal.
