He watches Naruto's unsucessful attempts to figure the gadget out, from the corner of his eyes, and then watched Tenten's actions afterword. He looks to the gadget in his hands and opens it, watching it power on. he stares at it like it got on his nerves. He read the buttons and the numbers.

'Clearly this is a communications device in order to create words and messages...' He thinks as he clicks the little picture with the word Internet under it that Tenten had been referring to earlier. something poped up. Gaara tried to press a few letters, typing in s-a-n-d. The page then went blank for a moment, and came up with a large list of things that came up with the word sand. 'and a...information provider too?...This could become quite useful later on.' He continues to think as he begins to understand the contraption, but he had his frustrated moments with it.

"Clearly... It is a communication and data device." He spoke to them. He wasn't wanting to be overly commucative with these people, seeing as how they were a little more rambunctious than he really cared for, but at this point, he had no choice seeing as how his brother and sister were nowhere to be found yet. He allowed his sand to come out and create a hardened surface to set the device on, as he stoon infront of it, pressing buttons every now and then, one arm still crossed over his chest. His face seemed focused and serious.

He only spared a moment to glance up as he saw Hinata run up toward them. 'Another one?' He asked himself inwardly as he watched her approach, his eyes remained on her for a long moment, watching all thier reactions before he went back to the item before him.

When Hinata arrived she sighed in relief. She had found Naruto and he was with more people than she had expected. She started to feel uncomfortable under Naruto and Gaara's gaze so she looked at the ground.

A few moments later, Hinata looked up again, glad the spotlight was no longer on her. Everyone was staring at a small device. She looked at Gaara's device, because Hinata was going to have a nervous breakdown if she stood next to Naruto.

Suddenly noting that Hinata was a bit too close to the person who was formerly known for mass destruction, Neji felt his protective older-brother-like genes kick in. Huffing, he firmly marched over and plotted himself between the two.

Sakura tore herself away from examining the strange devices reluctantly. Her fingers were itching to keep searching the 'internet.' It was so full of fascinating information! "Hinata! Neji," Sakura checked the bag Tenten had found earlier and pulled out two more devices. "Here, I think there's enough for everyone to have one."

Jiraiya soon arrived where the genin were. He looked to everyone and takes note of who was here. He then saw them messing with little machienery.

"Everyone, gather around! Now...what's going on here? And what are those?" He asks as he walks in between the main two groups of people. He eyes everyone as they mess with the gadgets.

Shikamaru glances up at the man's entry, and hands over his own device. "Might be communicators," he shrugs once before slumping back against a wall. "Pain in the ass to figure out how to work though."

He glances over at hinata, surprised the shy ninja actually chose to stand over by him. He looked back to the 'communicator' and then felt Neiji shove his way between them. He glanced at neiji a little annoyed at him before looking back. His train of thought with dealing with the communicator was once again interupted by Jairaiya and Gaara clearly showed he was getting more annoyed with a furrow of his brow.

Hinata was staring at Gaara's device when Neji came out of nowhere and stood in between her and Gaara. "Oh. Neji-niisan, When did you get here?" Hinata asked giving Neji a surprised look.

She then looked at Sakura when she called her name. She was giving her one of the communicator things. "Thank you, Sakura," Hinata said taking one from her.

Neji muttered something unintelligible to Hinata as a would-be response before mumbling a brief thanks to Sakura for the communicator or whatever it was that she had passed to him. He promptly ignored Gaara's clear irritation at him and folded his arms.

"How am I supposed to leave my cousin alone in an unknown place like this?" he snapped irritably. He was clearly running on a short fuse--which was hardly out of the norm but a clear bad sign.

"Konoha Ninja's should learn more respect" He hissed halfway under his breath as he closed the laptop and held it at his side with a glare toward Neiji. It wasn't like he was planning to hurt the shy ninja girl in the first place. He was no personal enimy of Konoha, he had been following orders before. When people treated him as such because of thier personal oppinion, it stirred his anger rather abruptly. Sure he was a little unstable at first, but he wasnt the one that initiated the short distance away from one another that he and hinata had been at.

Hinata noticed both Gaara and Neji's irritation. She took a few steps back so she was out of Gaara's personal space but still close enough reach her cousin. Hinata tugged on his shirt after Gaara's comment. "Neji-niisan," She said.

Sensing his cousin's mild admonishing tone, Neji withdrew a bit and mumbled something of an attempted apology at Gaara before closing his eyes and grumbling under his breath. If someone would actually tell him what was going on around here, maybe he wouldn't have to be so irritable.

He vented his anger by redirecting his death glare at some unfortunate squirrel.

//OOC: Hinata and Gaara are going to have to forgive Neji for being an ass for now. DX It's just the way he is~ D':

He noded, ever so slightly toward Neji. He looked to the others and listened, his hardened expression not showing much of him emotions. He walked foreward to where sakura was, comming up behind her almost silently, speaking somewhat quietly but firmly.

"Found anything?." His words seemed less of a questioning tone than most people would have because of his normal monotonish almost dark way of speaking. his gaze over her shoulder at the computer not giving out a hint of much curiousness, his arms traditionally crossed infront of him

Gaara's question snapped Sakura out of her browsing making her jump slightly. "Oh, not much actually. I've found messages from a lot of other people who are here too, no one I recognize though," She paged back to the main message center for him to see. "They all had the same experience we did. Going to sleep elsewhere and waking up here."

She frowned at one message in particular. "Only one guy has a theory about what happened, but I don't think there's any truth to it."

"And what might that be?" Iruka asked pleasantly, suddenly at Sakura's elbow. He had walked across to them after talking to Jiraiya and Naruto, and was holding the hand of a tanned man with blonde hair, who looked slightly disgruntled.

Malik had absolutely no qualms about putting any of these kids under mind-control if they had comments about him holding hands with their teacher. It was none of their business, anyway.

It didn't help that he was really only glaring at them in an effort not to blush.
