"Hoe?" Sakura shreaked, as she saw the person shoot out the front door of the apartment complex and land face first on the ground. "Are you alright?" she asked, gliding forwad with ease and stopping in front of the man. Rollerblading to school every day for years had its advantages, thought she never thought she'd need the skill when not wearing any form of skates.

"No I'm not!" Ken snapped, his irritation flaring. He tried to push himself up, but his hand slipped out from under him. He landed back on his face, which only made him even more upset. "What the hell is going on?!"

Sakura backed away a little when he snapped, but she couldn't exactly leave him there, sprawled on the ground. "Let me help you." she carefully hooked her arms under his armpits and heaved him up, the entire time being very careful about not letting them slide. She was alright as long as she kept her feet at this particular angle.

"The world turned slippery." she sighed, letting go, but still keeping a decent distance in case he fell again and needed another hand up.

Ken accepted the help, but he wasn't too happy about it. She was only a girl. No danger there. He gave her a warm smile, the anger and irritation gone from his face. "Thanks. This place keeps getting more and more annoying." While he knew that eventually he'd have to figure out how to get around like this, he remained right where he was for the time being so he wouldn't fall.

"I prefer this then what happened the other day." Sakura turned pink at the very idea, but quickly shook it off "Would you like me to show you how to get around?" she asked, gliding a little closer, and offering her hand to him.

The fact that he was getting help from a girl was slightly embarrassing, but Ken figured it would be worse to just sit on the ground. "Sure." He reached up and grabbed her hand. Hopefully he wouldn't just pull her down instead of the other way around.

"Place your feet flat on the ground, and try to shift all your weight up towards your feet as I pull you up." she told him "Ready?" she grabbed onto his other hand, "One, two..and three." she pulled with just her arms.

Ken did as he was told, not finding it hard at all. His "jobs" had taught him enough about his body that he could pretty much do whatever he wanted with it. "Thanks," he told her once he was on his feet again.

Sakura smiled at him releasing her hold on one of his hands she pulled I little away to stand beside him. "Have you ever skated before?" she asked "The ground wants to pretend it is an ice ring."

"Skate?" Ken asked. "No. I usually just stick with a motorcycle for transportation. That and running." Apparently neither one of them were going to help him now though.

Sakura nodding understanding that skating was not exactly something a lot of
people did. "Well, this isn't too hard. You have to kind of shuffle around. " she tightened her hold on his hand. " You plant one foot forward and push with the other one. Then you switch what foot is planted and which one pushes. "

"I'm going to pull you along so you can watch my feet. Ready?"

"Yeah, ready," Ken told her. It didn't sound super hard. Just shifting your weight really. He should be able to handle it. Hopefully once he saw her start moving he'd understand it better. The visual would probably make more sense than the words.

Sakura nodded and angled her feet. One was pointed straight while the other was at a slight angle. This foot was uses to push and it propelled them the slightest bit. Then she alternated the foot that pushed causing them to travel a little more. She moved them slowly, neither of her feet pointed completely to the front as the went along, but they did make some progress.

Ken watched in silence for a little while. It didn't take long before he understood the basic concept of the motion. "Let me see if I can pull this off, alright?" He was usually a pretty fast study with physical stuff. Ken released her hands and stood still for a moment before slowly shifting his body the way he'd seen her do. It wasn't as easy as it looked, and he was nowhere near as graceful as she had been, but he managed to stay upright.

Sakura watched him, her hands were pulled into herself to keep from trying to catch him in case he stumbled, because that might bring her down to. At chest level her fingers were interwoven within themselves, and once she saw that he was understanding the concept she clapped in approval. "That's exactly it, you just need some practice but that's it" she grinned at him.

Ken slowed to a stop, immediately knowing the correct movement to get it to work. "I'm usually good with this type of stuff. I like sports." He gave her a warm smile though. Despite how easy sports came for him, Ken knew that he probably wouldn't have figured this out if she hadn't shown him what to do.
