Kuromi was getting worried. She couldn't use her nightmare magic because if the key were to run out of energy, Hiiragi wasn't around to charge it. Which caused her to think of Hiiragi and how he wasn't there. She was actually starting to miss Baku, not that she'd admit to that.

Most days she wandered about the city, and on occasion she'd stop to read some of her Kuromi-note and then rage at how she wasn't in any position to get her revenge on My Melody. The entire situation sucked, and she didn't know what to do.

She noticed a man sitting on the ground, jotting stuff down. Maybe he could at least entertain her a bit. "Hey, you a writer?"

Sven glanced up from his work, pencil pressed against his lips. "Nah. Nothing like that. I'm just writing down ideas for a new invention. It's stage one of the process. I can't start making something until I have a good..." Sven trailed off as he realized that his legs suddenly felt rather cold. He glanced down, a bit confused. That slight confusion only lead to a lot of confusion. "W-where the hell did my pants go?!"

Kuromi was listening to the guy that was somewhat familiar until his clothes had started to disappear and a rather confused, yet disgusted expression crossed her face. At least he seemed confused too. "I WANT TO KNOW THAT TOO!" She couldn't help but yell and turn her back. She didn't really wear any clothes, so there weren't any worries for her.

For the first time Sven's highly trained battle reflexes came in handy for more than just battle. He snapped his suit jacket off and dropped it over his lap. Whoever's stupid game this was, was incredibly sick! At least it hadn't taken away under- No. Sven was not going to think about that. If he did there was the chance that it might actually happen, and he wasn't going to take that risk.

Kuromi heard some shuffling, but was afraid to turn around. He wasn't wearing pants, after all! It wasn't good to show yourself to nice young ladies like that! Crossing her arms she called over her shoulder, not wanting to turn around just yet. "Hey, didja find your pants? "

"No," Sven told her, voice a bit strained. "But I'm covered. I wouldn't want to be indecent around a lady." Or anyone else for that matter. Now if only he could just find his pants...

Kuromi turned and hesitantly looked about. She was glad he had his jacket, but for his pants to just disappear, it was like some other form of magic! and she didn't like it. But he seemed like a decent guy to do that. "That's good." No one should be parading that around anyway. "Do ya live near here? You could go get something to put on..."

"That would certainly be a good idea," Sven responded. He gathered up his notebook and his made sure his coat was wrapped securely around his waist. "The apartments aren't too far from here, which is good."

Kuromi turned her back as he stood - just in case. When he seemed ready, she looked back at him. "So if you ain't a writer, whacha do? An inventor?"

"You could say that," Sven responded. "I don't do a lot of inventing, but what I have done has come in really handy. Plus, it gives me something to do."

"Oh? What kinda things do you invent?" Maybe he could make her something useful that could charge the melody key... no, that would be impossible. Hiiragi held the magic violin and the dark power contained within, and only through that could the key be charged. Unless he could invent a way for her to either to permanently be in her human form or even some way to see Hiiragi!

"Weapons mostly. I invented the briefcase that I carry around all of the time. The other big one is Train's bullets. They've come in really handy." Sven readjusted his grip on his jacket as they approached his aparentment. He didn't want the coat to just fall off.

Weapons? Those weren't helpful at all! She crossed her arms. "Why do you need to invent weapons? And a briefcase is a briefcase! Can't you invent something useful? Like something to go home?"

"Weapons are useful. My partner and I work as sweepers, what most people consider bounty hunters. Weapons are really handy, especially ones that don't look like weapons. My briefcase is one of those," Sven explained as he turned the knob of his aparentment's door and walked inside.

Kuromi really wasn't keen on weapons. She was suddenly a little afraid of this guy and her body language was starting to show that. "I...I'm gonna wait outside..." Plus she didn't need to see him pantsless - even by accident.

Sven gave her a nod and a small, perhaps even reassuring smile. "That's probably a good idea." He headed inside. It would certainly be nice to end up fully clothed again. A gentleman simply didn't walk around with only his under clothes. It wasn't acceptable.
