Who: Ichigo, Ruby [OPEN?] What: Looking for something to eat that's not a person but has blood When: After his craving post Where: Park, then wherever it takes him Rating: PG13
Natsuo left Kio's house as soon as he was able to get his bearings back from Soubi's sneak attack. He breathed the fresh light air deep into his lungs. The air was still tense after the fight and he knew that Kio and Soubi needed their own alone time to patch things up.
He proceded to go to the mall to pick up a little gift for Hanatarou to apologize for getting into yet another fight and making him worry. He thought a treat of some food, maybe something a little fancy would make him happy. Once he got to the mall, he walked around the food court looking for something that his boyfriend might've enjoyed.
Ichigo stopped and looked around. Someone else was close by, that much he could tell. He peeked past the sign and spotted someone further down the mall, in the food court. Ears, tail, and long hair gave him a hint of who it was, and a small smile spread across his face. He took one last look at Ruby before proceeding to the food court, muttering something about getting the hot dogs for them.
He stopped by a table and watched Natsuo for a bit before deciding to let the cat boy know he was there. “What are you doing here?”
[[ooc: No real order. XD;; Ruby can jump in anytime, if she wants to.]]
"Ah! Ichi-nii!" Natsuo said excitedly hugging him tightly. He pulled away and looked up with a smile. "I'm getting some food for Hana-chan, what about you?" He asked tilting his head to the side.
This was a pleasant suprise, but he thought Ichigo didn't want to go out for some reason. Oh well, he wasn't complaining.
When hugged, he gave the smaller boy a pat on the head. Ichigo looked down at Natsuo with his usual grim looking face, a faint smile could be seen if one looked closely enough. “I’m… getting food too.” he replied, looking around the food court. He set eyes on the place he figured he could get hot dogs for Ruby.
He hoped what he’d heard about Natsuo was true. It would make things easier.
"Really? What are you getting? I can't decide if I want to get him something sweet or something like, chinese or italian" Natsuo said looking around the food court trying to think of something. Maybe he'd just copy Ichigo and get what he was getting.
“Hot dogs.” he replied, making his way over to the stand. “Ruby said she wanted to try them. So I’m getting her some.” Ichigo peeked over the counter and saw what he was looking for. Knowing no one would stop him, he walked behind the counter and started packing some into a bag. “Maybe you could Hanataro some as well. He might like them.”
"Bleh, Hot dogs?" Natsuo said making a face. "I was thinking something a little fancier. It's an apology treat." He glanced at the hot dogs. He was hungry, too, he decided to grab one anyways. He took a bite out of it, plain.
Ichigo watched him eat the hot dog and was reminded of his own hunger. “Maybe Hanataro would like to try it at least once. And you can get him more than one thing.” he reminded the cat boy, grabbing some of the condiments in their tiny little packages. After stuffing the bag, he walked towards one of the tables and sat down in a chair, facing away from Natsuo. “He’ll be happy with anything you get him.”
Natsuo shrugged. Ichigo was right, if wouldn't hurt to get him something else. He put a hotdog and tiny little condiment packets in the bag for Hanatarou and decided to get him something else. "What else should I get him? You think he'd like a melon?" he asked sitting down in another chair next to his 'older brother'.
“Everyone likes melon.” Ichigo grabbed one of the ketchup packets and laid it on the table. Staring at it for amount, he decided what to do with it. Taking a fork out of his bag, something he’d grabbed on impulse, he started poking it. “What about cake?”
"We've eaten so much cake" Natsuo said laughing. "I think I'll get him something like melon bread or maybe run him some ice cream balls" he said contemplating. He looked at Ichigo's face and studied it for a bit. "You're looking really pale, you okay Nii-san?" he asked.
The pack popped, spilling ketchup onto the table. Glancing at Natsuo, he could tell the other was worried. Ichigo leaned on the table and shrugged slightly. “I think I’m anemic.”
Natsuo looked at him sideways. "Anemic?" he said skeptically. He certainly didn't look anemic before hand. "Maybe you should eat something better than a hot dog" he said wiping the table clean with a napkin.
“Yeah…” he mumbled. The cravings were getting worse, especially with Natsuo sitting right next to him. Ichigo didn’t feel right about attacking the boy. But he’d rather do it while he still has some of his wits about him. “If I told you why, would you keep it a secret?”
Natsuo's ears perked up. A secret? He already learned his lesson about spouting off things that weren'this to tell. "Yeah, I'd keep it a secret, promise" he nodded.
“Remember when I… passed out? There’s a reason for that…” Ichigo replied quietly. “You see… I have a new place to stay… and I have to stay there… I can’t really leave, because I could be needed at any moment. I should probably go back soon, before anything happens to her.”
