The cat was cold and hungry. He felt like he was going to pass out and die if he didn't have anything to eat soon. Shelter would be good, too, with a nice owner to pet him, feed him and give him tummy rubs. He couldn't remember the last time he ate something decent... well, he couldn't remember anything. He didn't want to admit to losing his memories, though.
Climbing out of a trash can, he stretched and yawned before abandoning a food-less alleyway and walked onto the sidewalk, stopping in front of a small shop. He could smell the fish inside.
