Aro was amused, in a way, at Karin's rise in feelings for him. He knew he would likely need to console Haine relatively soon at this rate, but feeling the elation and love in little Karin was almost intoxicating. The moon was only a sliver away from full on this night - big and bright, but not the night of dogs.
In short it would be a night quite well-suited for he and little Karin to have a date, of sorts. So long as it made her happy, he would do it... no need to get her in a bad spot. What with his lack of sleep and perfect self-control there would be no incident, no matter what she sprung on him. Of course, what with his power, he was aware of all her thoughts - her constant touching him, such as when they slept together last night, was an additional help.
He had left the apartment for unrelated business, and no returned, knocking ever so lightly on the door, his hat in one hand and the other behind his back with a customary gift. If he was to fulfill the role of a courter, he may as well look the part.
