Who: Kuwabara and Zoisite
When: afternoon
Where: streets of the city
What: Kuwabara mistakes Zoisite for a pretty woman....
Rating: No idea?
Kuwabara was wandering as he always did since staying with Koenma seemed unpleasant at the moment. He didn't quite enjoy the prince dragging him around the place mjost the time. He didn't enjoyed the encounter last time, since it was very unpleasant. That girl still gave him nightmares. He really couldn't understand how someone like her would be so child looking but yet she was scary in her own way, he shudderd thinking about the white haired girl. He continued walking, keeping his hands crossed about his chest, as he did so, finding for something to do.
Zoisite was bored. With Mikoto vanishing, the Shitennou had nothing to amuse himself with. So he had ventured into the city and now sat on the ledge of a building to look over the city as he took off one white glove to look at his clean, perfectly trimmed nails. But he glanced up with amused violet eyes as he spotted the orange headed human boy below. How odd there seemed something strange about him but he could not put a finger on it.
Kuwabara walked kind of slumped in a way, since he wasn't too fond of the thoughts that came back to him. His beady black eyes gazed upon the buildings and the scenery before him, noticing he was either in the residental area or the business area of this odd place. That odd communicating device was tucked in his blue pants as he walked. From somewhere, a person, who appeared like a girl was sitting on top of the building at the ledge. He was wondering what a beautiful lady would be doing there, and confused, with Zoisite's appearance, Kuwabara rushed off towards the blind haired "girl" shouting something about I'll save you aloud, to anyone that would be listening. His moods seemed to lighten up more now.
Zoisite blinked at the orange haired kid starting to run and shout something. Strange.. but she merely shrugged and thought he was yelling at something else so he went back to inspecting his nails.
Poor Kuwabara unaware of who that was, or for the matter that the guy was indeed a "guy" and not a "girl" and made his way towards Zoisite, but first off he needed to find a way to get up or get her down. Kuwabara looked up at the "girl" and shouted to her when he got almost under the building that Zoisite was inhabiting.
"'EY PRETTY LADY! I WILL SAVE YOU!" he shouted determination written clearly in his face and said in his tone of voice.
Zoisite blinked at hearing Kuwabara and at being called lady...he slowly peered over the edge at the boy, very confused but slightly amused. Oh this was funny...he snickered at this, wondering what the boy would do.
Kuwabara looked up at the "lady" and pondered on what to do. He looked about the place, finding nothing that he could use. He wondered if "she" should jump and he would catch "her" but nonetheless, he wasn't so sure himself. Kuwabara pondered for a moment, and not being the brightes boy in the school, he had very lousy plans that would not do much for him. He thought ab out it a bit more before shouting back at the "lady."
"Pretty lady, jus' jump and I'll catch ya!" he shouted up towards Zoisite, failing to see the other's amusement on this situation.
Zoisite covered his mouth with one hand to keep from giggling, Had this one had never heard of stairs? Oh this was too funny. "All the way down there? I think not," the Shitennou said calmly, really trying hard to hide his amusement.
"BUT I will catch you pretty lady, I won't drop you!" he retorted not knowing what the "lady" meant when "she"was standing up there, saying now to him. He promised he wouldn't drop "her," and he wouldn't since 'she" was so pretty. Nonetheless he let his arms outstretched if "she" chose to jump...
Zoisite was very amused now. This one apparently was not the brightest one, he wondered how he survived for so long..."I would rather not, thank you," he smirked, putting his glove back on.
"What if you fall and break your delicate leg or somethin' being stuck up there and stuff," he pointed out, still not aware that the girl was indeed a guy. He was still looking up as he spoke to the girl. He wasn't sure how to persuade the pretty girl to come down so she would be safe.
So he could not tell Zoisite was not human, interesting. Then this would me amusing..gracefully Zoisite seemed to leap but he was there one moment and the next, stood on the ground before Kuwabara, a few delicate sakura blossoms floating about. "You are rather amusing..."
"Eh?" he sensed something wrong with the girl now. The boy watched she jumped off the building and onto the ground without breaking a leg or anything. What the hell? That was definately not right, "How-? How on earth didju do that?" he inquired in a loud tone at the girl, wondering how she was able to do such things since she seemed... sooo... I dunno, girly?
Zoisite giggled, amused by Kuwabara's ignorance. He reminded him of the senshi. "You could not tell? It was magic," he chuckled, catching a stray sakura blossom as it floated in front of him, smirking.
"Magic? Is there such things?" Kuwabara quetsioned, really confused. Though not to be fooled by his stupidity, Kuwabara had his smart moments, but apparently this isn't his smart moment, so he seemed a bit stupider than usual. Perhaps that girl did something with this head. Kuwabara took a few steps back, knowing well that the girl was hardly someone delicate by her movements. Her voice though...why did it sound boyish?
Zoisite could hardly believe it...this one seemed as dumb or worse than Sailor Moon herself! "Oh my, you still must believe in fairies and miracles?" the Shitennou laughed, pitying this one's ignorance.
"HEY! I didn't mean it like that?! I mean with all the stuff I see nowadays, I swear it could be possible," he retorted almost immediately, since the other probably found him stupid already. But it wasn't his fault. With all these things going on in the world he was in right now, anything could possibly be possible. Really, it could, but honestly, he wasn't sure waht to believe, though now, he was wondering if she was a girl or not, since her voice, didn't seem so delicate or feminine, "HEY... you aren't a lady are ya?" he inquired raising a brow.
"You just figured that out?" Zoisite giggled. He was used to being mistaken for a woman and in fact he often used that to his advantage. But he had not even been trying to fool the other and it seemed it had taken Kuwabara a bit to figure it out still. "You are not too bright, are you?" he asked with a laugh.
"Hey quit making fun of me! I swore you looked like a chick, with your long hair an' all..." he muttered, clearly not pleased that he was being made a fool of. Perhaps, the long hair always seemed to fool him, after all... even he had thought that Kurama was a girl when they met...for the first time. Damn it, how did he not see that? Obviously this person was anything but girly. He could tell now... What a and idiot he was, "plus, it's not my fault ya got long hair like a girl either," he added rather annoyed.
"So you think everyone with long hair is female? Oh my, you really are slow," Zoisite could not help but laugh more.
"Well not really, but you look like it!" the boy snapped back annoyed, and somewhat fuming right now since everyone found it fun to piss off Kuwabara, though funny thing the guy didn't even deny that he didn't look like a girl. He was getting pissed off at the man's laugh now.
Zoisite chuckled. 'Why thank you, I always do my best to be beautiful!" the young heavenly king was hardly modest in regards to his appearance. "You're rather ugly though, even more than my youma..." he commented with a laugh.
"HEY stop making fun of my looks damn it! You're just like that arrogant faggot!" he snapped back, angered now, since he already felt stupid enough, why rub it in right? Kuwabara wasn't exactly the silent type or one to shut up and he wasn't the type to back down on anything really. Kuwabara clenched his fists as he was really about to punch the guy. Though why did everyone seem to like to piss him off or make an attempt to insult him? Sure he knew he wasn't the best looking guy, but seriously...
Zoisite laughed, covering his mouth with one hand. He was amused that he seemed to have found a raw nerve of the boy's, though he had no idea who he was referring to. "My, you seem to have some issues there..."
"What the hell is wrong with you people?!" he snapped angrily almost growling but he didn't actually growl but it was attempting to come out. At least, the guy didn't say anything worse than what was already said yet... though he wasn't happy at all though, pretty pissed since it was just something everyone like to do to him, and he didn't like it one bit. He was so oh close to punching the blond guy.
Zoisite did not find Kuwabara to be much of a threat, he could tell the other had some kind of powers but he was not sure what, he had never seen anything like it...it would be disturbingly amusing if the guy turned out to be a sailor senshi though. "Well, I beleive its a natural reaction to your ugly face and your stupid manner?"
"You're the one without freakin manners, making fun of my face!" he growled, angrily this time, and obviously not amused anymore than any pissed off person. Kuwabara hated it really, since he wasn't going to make another enemy. He could count many already, but seriously, this guy HAD no manners, no matter how he looked at it, since the guy seemed sooo oooh polite to the orange head right now. Or he flet no need to be polite to someone less prettier than him or something.
"You are human, but oddly you seem to be different," Zoisite changed the subject, walking around the boy, tapping a finger on his chin in thought. He could not figure it out and if Kuwabara transformed into a senshi in a small skirt, Zoisite was out of there.
Kuwabara glowered at the man. So, he was capable of figuring out people with odd inhuman energy eh? Well, the boy needed to say nothing to him, since it was obviously something that would be made fun of to him right now, if he told the man, since the guy already made much fun of Kuwabara already, he wasn't about to take any chances at anything else really.
"What's it ta ya?" he retorted
"Merely...curious," Zoisite smirked. Though he was playing nice now, he always got the answered he wanted.
"I dun believe you at ALL," he retorted narrowing his beady black eyes as he spoke, just about ready to punch the guy. Curiousity, right. He hardly doubt it. The boy was not too friendly anymore and his mood was worse than when he was walking peacefully by shivering about the events, but right now, he hardly felt fear and forgotten about that encounter, because he was pissed at the new guy right now.
"I meant that you would share information before I have to...convince you," Zoisite corrected with a grin. He was curious about the beings in this world since he had nothing better to do.
"HAH! you wish!" he snapped back angrily at the man not caring, or wanting to know what he meant by convince, but nonetheless, he hardly wanted to show his spiritual powers to this guy, he was not worth it, and he didn't need to know that Kuwabara possessed such poweres. It was better that way anyways.
Zoisite turned his wrist over with a chuckle, holding up a crystal shard now in his hand. "I do? You know, it is not a good idea to challenge strangers....."
I am not CHALLENGING you! I jus' don't like telling strangers what I CAN do!" he snapped back and noticed the shard that was forming in his hand. Damn it, why did it have to be some inhuman being? Now he wished that he never bothered to go and save the guy in the first place. Sometimes, he regretted ever being honorble to things, but hey it made Kwuabara a good person in truth. He back down a bit preparing to defend himself. What the hell did the guy actually mean by challenging? He simply stated he didn't feel like telling the guy.
"Interesting..." Zoisite smirked, amused by Kuwabara's reaction. The senshi would have been afraid by now, this one must have faced danger before...
Kuwabara's eyes were narrowed as he looked back at the man. He had no idea he wasn't human, but he looked human, and nothing but his poweres were odd. Though, he was prepared for the incoming attack if necessary, and decided to avoid it to the best of his abilities, somewhat clued in on the fact that the guy had mentioned he would force his powers out. He didn't expect it to be like this. Damn, he was in deep this time.
"I am debating whether to kill you or use your body as a host fora youma but I am not sure I would want one of my youma to be so ugly," Zoisite smirked as the crystal shard in his hand vanished.
"Hah you can't kill me that easily with that giant icicle thing!" he retorted back a bit arrogant in away, but Kuwabara hated being underestimated really he did. Though being someone elses' monster didn't seem appealing either. He stood there in defense, just waiting fo rhte man to have at it, see what he could do at least. Kuwabara didn't want to be stupid and release his Reiki and let the man know what he could do.
"Oh there are far worse things than death," he commented in a soft tone but while he smirked, his green eyes held a dark look. He had learned that lesson first hand in the Dark Kingdom...
He didn't hear it because he wasn't well aware of the man speaking, but nonetheless he wanted to keep himself a far distance from the man, and attacked only when necessary, though he had problmes with that occasionally. Kuwabara didn't attack the man, only waited to see what he was planning on doing.
"But I will spare your pathetic life for now," Zoisite decided after a moment, smirking. This one would be amusing to play with like the senshi. Pathetic, but not easy to destroy with one blow...
Kuwabara let his guard up more annoyed, angry, because he was insulted and now stuck in an engaged fight with a complete stranger, he had no idea about. His only upper hand was, the man wasn't aware of his abilities and what he was capapble of, and vise versa. It was a kind of fifty and fifty situation.
"It might actually might be amusing...you certainly amused me with the whole 'I will save you' act," Zoisite laughed in a rather annoying manner.
Kuwabara inwardly twtiched, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE A CHICK OKAY? IF I KNEW YOU WERE A MAN, I WOULDN'T HAVE TRIED TO SAVE YOU DAMN IT!" he snapped angrily, "at least some people admit they dun look like chicks, even though they do, I say you pretty much like being mistaken for chick arentcha!"
"Of course, I can use it to my advantage," Zoisite grinned. He had no qualms in fighting dirty since he was of slender build, fair fights were not to his advantage and he had to take every chance he could get...otherwise he would not have survived very long in the Dark Kingdom.
"Damn you are dishonest as you are a complete ass," Kuwabara muttered glaring at the demon . He obviously not care about it earlier, but now it wa sa big deal since he was made a fool of oh so kindly and stuck here. He really wanted to packa few punches or so on the man if he could, but right now, he focused on what the ihuman man was planning, since he really didn't know how the guy fought, or the way he fought.
"Why thank you," the Shitennou sneered, even Nephrite came up with more biting insults then this oaf did but no matter. "Honesty does nothing, the only reason I have gotten where I am is by doing what I have to," he smirked, proud of his rank despite having worked for Beryl...but that was the past and he was free now.
"You have no pride!" he snapped back, though in the end it was kind of pointless talking to him. Kuwabara wasn't sure if they were going to fight, or if they stood there shouting words at each other, and obviously the man's words were biting at Kuwabara and digging in his brain, poking every nerve in his body, which really pissed him off. The guy knew where to poke at really. Just wha tthe hell was really going on, and what was with him encountering odd people...?
"You will understand someday when you have to chose survival or death" Zoisite remarked with amusement as he turned away, flipping his shiny copper hair out of his face. A few stray sakura blossoms fluttered off but faded before touching the ground.
What was with pretty boys and flowers? Kuwabara tried his best not poke out another rude comment, which he was dying to insult the guy any further, but right now he was trying to focus on why he was out here. He was out here to get a hold of himself, and this was not getting a hold of himself. The boy stared at the man for a moment before inwardly growling and turned his heel the opposite way, clearly pissed still, but not wanting to cause anything more problems then what already sparked up. Damn it, why was he always stuck meeting odd people?
