Naminé had been quiet along the way - she had been quite nervous about seeing Ryuu, and this would probably give her a bit of time to think of something, just in case he would find her at the flower shop. A tiny part of her wanted him to not find her, but a large part wanted to see him - to apologize for not listening, for worrying him.

Nephry held Namine by the hand, anxious to go back to the shop. She wanted to know if Jade was all right. If he was, she'd hug him and thank him for protecting her.

The walk seemed to take forever. FInally, though, they were at the shop. They all crowded their way through the door, and Guy moved to lay Hiro's body down on the couch. It seemed like a good place to keep him for now.

That finished, Guy turned anxiously to the two girls. "I...I'm going to go and check on Jade, all right?" he asked. "I'll call you if he's okay, and that way, you don't have to see him if he's...." His voice trailed off. Jade had to be all right. Had to.

She gave him a reassuring smile. "A-alright. I understand." She very lightly squeezed Nephry's hand, almost one hundred percent sure that Jade would come back soon. If he didn't... well, Naminé wouldn't know what to think.

Nephry clung back to her arm. She really hoped he was all right. If he wasn't, she wouldn't know what to do.

Perhaps only a moment before Guy had made his way into the shop, Hiro hanging limp in his arms, someone else beat him to the entrance. Or rather, whereas the building had been deserted just a minute ago, it suddenly housed an occupant… a previously indisposed occupant.

Jade didn’t precisely startle awake. It was a gradual consciousness, that latched on to the sounds of movements in the entryway, that gripped memories of what seemed like only a moment ago-Guy’s fretting face visible just over the shoulder of a brooding man, his own arm out, defensive of the small girl at his side…

Nephry.And then, it was clockwork. Eyes pressed open, a hand found the surface beneath himself-soft-and Jade pushed himself up

Guy nodded to Namine and Nephry, and, full of trepidation, made his way back through the shop. Back room, living room, kitchen...He paused, his hand on the knob of Jade's bedroom door, almost afraid to open it. He stood still for a moment, listening.

Could he really hear someone moving in the room, or was that only his own wishful thinking decieving his ears?

Steeling himself, Guy pushed open the door.

His gaze went to the bed first, and, heart leaping into his throat, he saw that Jade was no longer lying down in it. Instead, the older man was on his feet, steadying himself against the frame. "Jade," he whispered, stunned for just a moment into happy stillness.

Then he was moving--had he thought that he was tired? The feeling was nothing now--and across the room, his arms tightly around the older man before he even knew that he'd left the doorway. "Jade."

Remembering himself, and his promise, he turned his head back over his shoulder, shouting, "Nephry! Namine! Come here!" The joy in his voice was clearly audible.

The sudden shout had made her jump, but she smiled then, knowing exactly what had happened, what Guy had seen. She looked down at Nephry and started to lightly pull the girl along. "It sounds like your big brother's back," she said, glancing to the back of the shop.

Nephry grinned happily and ran in front of Namine. Jade was back, and she was glad. Pulling Namine along, Nephry headed to Jade's room. Once inside, she saw what she had hoped to see, and clung to his waist. "Brother!" She cheered happily.

Jade had tensed when the door handle began to turn, but any suspicion was short-lived as the door was pressed in, reveling the answer to the first half of his question.

"Guy-" Responded quickly. But the rest of Jade's statement was cut off as the other man gapped the distance between the two and-- hugged him. Well, then. Guy had been doing rather a lot of that lately, with thanks to the interesting candy he'd consumed and its effect on his personage. Now was really no time for overly-tight, ecstatic embraces though. Neprhy was--

"Nephry?" And, another one piled on for the hug

Guy caught himself with an outstretched arm so that he didn't fall on top of Jade as the group tumbled to the bed. "You...don't remember?" That wasn't so surprising, he supposed. Not much should surprise him, after seeing the dead come back to life. "You...well, it was...It was Marluxia. He.... he killed you, Jade." How much did Jade remember? Guy started to shift to the side as some reasons why Jade might not exactly welcome having the blond on top of him returned to Guy's own mind.

It didn't really come as a surprise to Naminé that Jade didn't remember - from what she had seen, everyone who had returned from being dead had been pulled from times prior to their deaths... except for Shigure. Arietta had acted as if she were an animal, and Zexion had returned as Ienzo, his Somebody. "Ah... I think what happened was Jade only remembers what happened a few moments before Marluxia... before he took Nephry and killed him... right...?" she asked slowly, frowning only a little.

Nephry held Jade tighter. It was just too painful to remember. The sight of seeing someone defending her drop to the ground and dying without making a single noise. Then she remembered what happened to Hiro in the forest. But if Jade was alive now, then Hori would come back, right?

"Thank you, Brother. Thank you for trying to protect me." She said. She knew he was his brother, even if he acted a bit different than when he was younger.

Those words stiffened Jade’s expression. Killed-?

Namine only confirmed it. However, she added the unfortunate words ‘took Nephry’.

Gaze becoming slightly electric with ferocity, his grip tightened slightly around the little girls body as she drew closer, using the upsetting word ‘trying’. Tried, rather than had.

Death did explain the state of his body currently, but nonetheless, when he turned to Guy, sitting up slightly, it wasn’t himself he was interested in. “What happened after? Where is he now?”

".....He's dead," Guy replied darkly. "For now, anyway." He didn't elaborate; he didn't feel that he should....take credit, or blame himself--he wasn't sure which was more appropriate--for Marluxia's death. It had been an accidental blow, a lucky shot, pure chance. The important thing, which Guy guessed was what Jade really wanted to know, was that Nephry was safe for the time being. That Marluxia was gone. It didn't matter who had killed him.

She smiled weakly. "I'm sorry this all happened. It was because of me... if I only would have known what he would do... that he would use such an underhanded tactic... I would have been able to stop him."
