Tohma sat at the bar, hunched over his drink as if to protect himself from some external danger. It wasn't strong enough liquor for him, but it was a bit too early in the afternoon to be fall-on-you-face drunk, so he was resisting the urge.
It was really too much of a mix of things. Good surprises - god, hearing Ryuichi say he loved him had been one of the more heady experiences of his life - were currently outweighed by the fucked-up mess that was the rest of his life.
If Eiri said one more thing to him before he was fully smashed he'd have to kill something.
Looking down, he noticed absently that his glass was empty. Fuck.
