The man's foot steps were like unbreakable rocks clashing against each other, sharp to the ears, but short. He had awoke in the forest and decided to explore. He was glad there was no police nor currency in this world. He could go where he pleased and do anything that he wished. His sins were no more important here. But would they still bash him from their world just for his face? It's not the outside that counts, it's the inside, yes? Back in Paris, his inner self was possibly as bad as his outside. Was it his problem they made fun of him and gave no care for his needs? All he knew was sins, all he wanted was revenge... or at some part, but he did want one thing, that would never happen. That's the past, this is now, now is what matters, or so he believed.
The phantom had strolled down the side walk for quite a while. Buildings were so weird here, not like where he was from, but not like he went outside much to even see those buildings. They had a weird feeling, like new, modern, but they weren't modern to Eric. He stared at one with much interest. It was only a clock tower, but the architecture was amazing. It felt like Paris felt to the phantom. He smiled up at it.
