Tear patiently waited in the business district. Luke had contacted her to meet up with him, stating that he was going that he wanted

The teenager rounded the corner and saw the girl. Luke picked up his pace to meet up with her. He knew from times before that Tear would act distant.

Maybe it was wrong for him to pry into Tear to figure out what he did. But he wanted to know what he would be apologizing for. And with him, Tear told him. So now, he wanted to apologize in person because over a communicator wasn't enough.

Finally, with a few more footsteps, he reached her. Already, the air was this and awkward. "Hey," he mumbled.

Tear had heard the footsteps long before the Fabre said anything, but chose not to notice. Taking a silent deep breath she turned around.

"Hey."She replied back, well aware of the awkward air.

Noticing that no one was in the shop they were standing in front of, Luke moved towards the door. Saying nothing more, he opened the door for her and held out an arm in front of him. "After you..."

Man, this was too awkward...

The Fonist raised an eyebrow at Luke's chivalrous action before stepping in.

"Thanks" She said. "What are we doing by the way?"

It was quite obvious Luke wanted to really make it up to her with more than a sorry.

"No problem," he started to reply. "Don't worry about it. I- I'll take care of everything."

Luke walked up to the counter and ordered a vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and a strawberry ice cream with rainbow sprinkles.

Once the order was complete and he got the items, he returned to Tear's side, holding out the cup of strawberry ice cream and it's toppings.

Tear wasn't sure if Luke taking care of everything was a good thing. Nevertheless she took the frozen treat and stared at it for a second.

".. What.. is it?" She looked up at Luke who had started on his ice cream.

"Hmm icccee crummeeemmm," Luke replied with his mouth full. Getting the look of 'what did you just say' from Tear, he sallowed and tried again. "It's ice cream. It's cold so be careful."

Blinking some more at the ice cream, she gingerly picked up her spoon to scoop some. Luke's words had not prepare Tear well enough for the cold-shock, resulting to her almost dropping her ice cream. But aside from that, she actually enjoy the flavor.

"This is good."She admitted.

"Isn't it?" He said, continuing his own. Walking out the door, he held the door open for Tear once more. "Follow me..."

Tear walked through the door, and turned to him.

"I still think this isn't necessary.."She stated, eating more of her ice cream.

Ignoring Tear's words, because he had heard them before, he walked in front of her, leading her to a place that was familiar to both of them. And a place, he, as a child... as Aiden, subliminally promised they would go.

The park.

It didn't take her long before she recognized that they were heading towards the park. She decided not to question him and continued following.

Reaching the playground area, Luke sat on one of the swings. He was hoping Tear would do the same.

Tear sat on one of the swings, receiving a brief flashbacks of when they first came here. Gently rocking back and forth, she tried to ignore the tension still in the air.

Taking another spoonful of ice cream, he ate it before saying anything. "Those things I said when I was 'Aiden'... I know it hurt you. I'm sorry for saying those things... without thinking I guess. I don't care how many times you say it's 'unnecessary' for me to apologize, but it is necessary. Not just for me, but for you too."

Placing her ice cream further away from her, she sped up her swinging.

"That's not going to change anything..."Tear stated as she started to swing higher up in the air."I still don't think it's necessary."
