Shigure walked with the boy into the house. This would be an interesting experience for the boy. Painful, too, in all likelihood. Oh well. It had to bed done, and the sooner he got acquainted with

Kiyoshi had walked in mostly silence. The home they entered was all to familliar, yet unwelcoming it seemed. Oh well, he thought as he looked around. 'home' He thought somewhat plesently.

"I have a room already?" He said with a light smile. He was usually a very thankful child. He wanted gure to like him. His momma was gone, but his papa seemed to busy to see him. He wanted family, and these people had meant alot to his mom. He wanted to be accepted. He wanted to be liked and loved.

How cute. He wanted to be accepted. Well, that remained to be seen. Shigure himself had no problem accepting Kiyoshi. Of course, this didn't mean he actually loved or even liked the child. Simply that he accepted him as a member of the family. Then again, it didn't mean he didn't like the child.

As usual, his emotions were impossible to read.

"Yes. This way." He smiled and walked towards the kitchen. Near it was an extra bedroom. Shigure had taken the trouble of preparing it for a child some time ago, shortly after Kiyoshi had been born. It was still clean and neat, with various articles of clothing, towels, toiletries, and other necessities. The clothing was, of course, fitted for a seven-year-old child.

It was neat, and a little plain, but many of the rooms were for people who had not been there for long. It was clean too. Kiyoshi looked around, looking happier than he had since they had left the beach.

"This is all for me?" He asked, turning to shigure with his normal, light smiling face, not giving away too much, but not too little. He was not unfeeling, but usually kept a slightly calm, light expression on his face.

"It is." Shigure sat down on the bed, wondering what all Ayame had told the child, or if he even knew anything but a rudimentary knowledge of Japanese. The communication devices tended to act as translators, in his experience. Did the child speak English? Japanese? Both? What did he know of the Curse? Of Akito? Of the Juunishi?

"So, Kiyoshi, do you speak Japanese and English?" Shigure asked. He himself had been taught English in high school and taken more in college. He also read English books. Ayame had taken English as well, but Shigure wasn't sure how much he had taught his son, if any.

"I can speak both..." He spoke in japanese, and then in english. Language was easy for him, but not much else concerning textbook knowledge.

"I can speak more japanese though. But... I can make since in english I think." He ended the sentance in english.

"I can read, and write... but I am not good at stuff like math..."

"Very good." Shigure smiled again at the child. It was good that Ayame had taught him such things. Not good at math, was he? That was interesting. Very. "What are you good at, Kiyoshi?"

"I can read, write... I can learn languages easily... I can draw... I am good at understand people sometimes. and being helpful... I... don't really know. Anything that I be crative... I guess." Kyoshi wasn't too sure.

"Momma tought me to sew. I'm sort of good at that."

Hmm. More of the artistic type then. "Very nice, Kiyoshi." Shigure said. The skills would serve the boy well as he grew older. "What do you know of your family?" He asked, disarming the question with a smile in the next moment. "Sorry for asking all these questions, but I need to know what you know so I know what to tell you~"

"And I can cook small things... like tea and rice and sandwitches..." He added as a small mumble.

"Oh uhm... Mommy turns into a snake when she gets really cold. She said she is cursed. But she didn't say how. But she said I don't have it, and that I would be fine. But she said she had to obey the scary lady. And that I should to so she doesnt ever hit me again." He megan to mumble again but picked his words back up to a coherent and audiable level.

"She said its something very important. And that I can't tell anyone. But mommy transformed in front of the red girly man! So I had to help mommy and tell him she is cursed." He said as he went to sit on the bed also, but not nessisarily close, but not avoiding him either. Kiyoshi tended to respect physical boundary's.

Interesting. Shigure wondered if that was all Ayame had told her son, or if his cousin had actually revealed more that the boy wasn't telling.

Possible.

"Yes, it's best that you don't tell people about the "Curse"." Shigure said kindly. "No one outside the family. It's also best if you don't tell people about "the scary lady"."

"Okay..." He began to agree.

"But Shouldn't people stay away from her? She's really mean... I bet she was the one that killed mommy. Mommy said she was going to see the scary lady, and then never came back."

[inu_sensei]

"Another thing. It's best not to refer to Akito as "her" in publi." Shigure smiled. "It would hurt some people if they found out she is a woman." He paused. "As for people staying away from her...I'll worry about that, Kiyoshi." He would indeed. No one outside the family was going to be near Akito in such a situation if he could help it.

"... Alright..." Kiyoshi said as he looked arounhe room. So this was where he was to be staying?

"SO...Do I have to stay in here all day?"

[inu_sensei]

Shigure laughed. "Not yet." He stood and walked out of the room. "Come on."

not yet... which means he would have to be at some point.

"Shigure? Will... uhm... Can I... uhm... Can I go se papa soon?...please?" He asked a little nervously. He didn't want shigure to think he didnt want to be there.

Shigure glanced down at the child. "Of course." He smiled. "But I'd rather not let you go alone. Either Cain comes and picks you up, or I walk you there."
