It was warm out now. That was the first thing he noticed when he slipped out the door of the hotel, undetected, with a coat of brown, much more subtle than his cloak. He'd left that under the pillow of his bed. He needed a little time away, he'd decided. A little time to think would be the best, some time to wander and sort out his thoughts.
He adjusted the coat over the empty port of his right arm. It was a bother if it was noticed. He sighed, glanced around to decide a direction, and decided to head left, letting his thoughts start to repeat in his mind.
What could he do to fix this whole mess?
