When: (This takes place after whatever is going to happen in the ramen shop.)
Where: Still in the city, but eventually the desert.

Naruto left the ramen shop, hoping none of the others would follow. As he walked, he attempted to straighten out his thoughts. Why was he feeling this way? Not coming up with an answer, Naruto gave up with a sigh. Maybe he wasn't supposed to figure this out. Maybe it was something he was not meant to understand. Or maybe he just wasn't smart enough to do so. Whatever the reason, Naruto felt completely hopeless and insecure.
The blond the decided to walk through the forest. After only seconds of walking into it, he spotted a bush with red fruit growing on it. It looked edible, so he decided to grab three pieces of the fruit for later. He knew he would probably end up hungry later on. After putting one pieced in each pocket, Naruto continued on. Eventually, he paused at the edge of the desert. A curious expression appeared on his face. Deciding to check it out, he continued on. He wondered if he would find anything interesting here.
