Cain... something is wrong with you. Ayame thought as he looked at the messages they had shared over the communicator.

It was amazing how much Ryou had managed to calm Cain down, given the circumstances. There really was something special about the boy (girl; whatever one wanted to call persons in this condition). The Brit was managing to sit quietly again, lost in thought with only the slightest look of aggitation on his face.

This wasn't something that was going to just go away, after all.

He jumped about a foot when there was a knock on the door. Frown darkening, Cain managed to get up and slink down the hall, pulling the door open without looking first to see who it was.

"...Ayame?"

"Cain~!" She threw her arms around cain, it was so cold outside and her skin pale and chilled. The city was almost frozen over it had seemed, snow falling down everywhere. The clothes she had on hardly kept the cold at bay from her skin. Her hair, kept down to keep what warmth she could.

Ryou stepped out of the kitchen and down the hall. He had been prepairing more tea when he heard the knock and then voiced.
"Cain, is everything alright?" he asked whipping his hands on a towel and walking down the hall to stop a few feet away from the two people. A very pretty girl he had never seen had her arms around Cain, while the other looked slightly pailer than when Ryou had left him.

Yuki trailed in behind his brother uncertainly, not entirely sure why he had followed her. Well, besides the obvious reason of making sure Ayame didn't end up unconscious in a ditch somewhere, which seemed likely even when the other was in perfect health. But he was getting off track. The door had opened, and Ayame was hugging someone...

...so this was Cain.
