Matsuda got a shiver down his spine while backing up a bit away from him. He put up his hands slowly while chuckling nervously. He didn't want to get smacked by anything he had only been curious about the clothing. His dark eyes widened slightly as he blurted out.

"I come in PEACE! I didn't mean to be overly curious about the clothing all of a sudden.. it just that.. your appearance kind of frightened me! So I was only trying to get my mind off of that and the mystery door!" He talked hurriedly as he turned sideways to look at the door while shrugging slightly before looking back over at Sephiroth with a small smile.

"It's probably nothing anyway. I'm not gonna hurt you or anything and I'm completely harmless!" Matsuda replied back as he put his hands into his pockets as he studied the other. He wasn't sure what the other man will do. Matsuda shifted a bit but he kept a small smile as he debating running if he had to. The police man took a step forward towards him. "Mind if I tag along? I really have nothing better to do."

Sephiroth covered his face with a gloved palm. He turned to face a different direction, shoulders shaking slightly. It wasn't as though he was an alien, not really.

"Excuse me for that." he said turning back to face the darker haired of the two. He had to admit, he wasn't entirely sure if he had expected that sort of reaction. Although he had recieved some strange ones.

Lips twitched upwards, he waved a hand. "Of course...you may do whatever you wish." replying blandly. He took a step forward but stopped suddenly. Turning around once again to face the man, he gave a slight bow to him. "I am called Sephiroth."

Matsuda blinked slightly as he smiled before bowing back. "You can call me Matsu-- Matsui Tarou!" He chuckled as he seemed like he had forgotten his own name. He walked up to him so that he would follow Sephiroth. He didn't mind staying behind the other man.

"No If I offended you in some way, I'm sorry. I didn't meant to ... but I just wanted you to know that I'm harmless since I'm pretty sure that's a sword, ne?" Matsuda replied as he pointed at the man's side as he smiled cutely while tilting his head to the side. He had grown curious with this little mission of Sephiroth going to give someone clothing. Much less he couldn't really tell what kind of clothing. "What kind of clothing is it anyway?"

He nodded at Matsuda, raising an eyebrow at the hesitance made as he had introduced himself to Sephiroth.

His right hand touched the hilt of the blade, his cold demeanor softening somewhat. "I am not one to boast, but this blade cannot be handled by any other then I." Which was not entirely true. Zack had once joked that whenever the oppurtunity presented itself, he could be less than modest.

Green eyes looking at him from the cornoer of his eyes, he wondered whther one day, this person's curiosity would cause him to get into trouble. "If you are curious, I will allow you to have a small glance at it, if you wish." He held out the bundle towards Matsui, in case he decided to take the offer. "Or you could wait until I deliver it."

Matsuda smiled while looking at Sephiroth. He didn't mind if he was boasting or not. He put his hands into his pockets as he debated over if he should wait to see clothing. He chuckled as he shook his head at the other man. "I think I'll wait until you deliver it. I'm sure who ever you are giving it to would be extremely happy!"

He looked around the hallway as he looked at the doors and the rooms that were still open for people to use. He stayed closed to the other man just incase something did happen to come out of no where. "How much further until we get to this Riku-chan?"

Sephiroth watched out the corner of his eyes as Matsuda shifted closer. He changed the position of the bundle to that of one more secure. He felt a slight guiltfor dragging Matsuda around on this errand,perhaps later, he would try and compensate for it.

He stopped at Matsuda's question. Looking around at the numbers on the doors of the free rooms, he tilted his head up staring at the ceiling. "Soon I hope. I apologize for forcing you around like this. However, I believe that we must travel one floor upwards."

Matsuda chuckled while smiling widely. He stayed close to the other man while looking away and to the side. He didn't mind the little trip he just had thought that Riku would be on this floor. Besides he wanted to tag along anyway since he really didn't have much to do.

"No, it's fine. I did decide to tag along. I didn't have much to do anyway nor did I have anyone to really go to." He replied as he looked up at the silver haired man. He felt kind of safe around him. He seemed rather nice but he should watch out just in case something did happen. Not supposed to trust people right away...

Sephiroth continued walking down to the end of the hallway. Face turning to meet Matsuda, his lips curled upwards as he gave a slight nod.

"In that case, when this errand is done with, I hope you do not mind if I fulfill the favour by going somewhere of your choice in return." He started, as he took a step up the stairs. "Even perhaps if you do not know where that is." He wasn't sure if Matsuda heard the last bit, as he had kept climbing the stairs at his normal rate and hadn't bothered to check behind him.

Matsuda blinked as he tilted his head. He wasn't sure what exactly was around this city since he had only been at the hotel for a while. He followed after silver haired man trying to keep up with his pace. He felt like he was running after him since the other was taking long steps up. Matsuda didn't mind stairs since he had climbed up many stairs in the past.

"I guess we'll be venturing around to see whats around. Personally I don't mind where we do go." He replied slightly loudly as he hoped that he had heard him.

Sephiroth continued to climb the stairs. They were quite a deal longer then they had first appeared to be. He stopped and and faced behind him, waiting for Matsuda to catch up.

"This city is large enough that there will not be a shortage of areas to explore." He agreed, nodding his head towards the stairs that continued to go up. "Although I am unused to the idea of aimlessly wandering."

Matsuda chuckled as he finally caught up to the man. He smiled widely at him as waved a hand a bit. "Ne, sometimes aimlessly wandering can be fun. You can find all sorts of this that way. But we don't have to go out.. we could.. do something together instead. It doesn't have to be that we need to go someplace. We can even play games or something."

He suggested as he looked down at the floor. He flushed lightly as he realized that he kept rambling on until he finally stopped. He didn't want to upset the older man in front of him. Nor did he want to get smacked he looked back up with a smile. "Just a suggestion."

Sephiroth let out a sigh, albeit not one of exasperation but a sigh of one giving in to the pleadings of a child. Face holding a small smile, although if one did not know him, they'd have not notice it at all. "Yes, wandering tends to produce such results. But if it's games, then I know of little." He admitted, not proud to have to say there were things in the world that he did not have a firm understanding of.

He took a step up, bring his other foot to stand beside it. "It is a suggestion that we should take into consideration." The ramblings of the younger man reminded him of the flustered cadets whenever met with his presence. Which made him wonder slightly...

"Matsui, it's mere curiosity, but what is, rather was your profession before you came here?"

"I was a poli--- pop star manager!" Matsuda blurted out as he flushed slightly. He felt like he shouldn't be lying to this man. He sighed as he looked away and down at the floor.

"Ne... sorry for lying... But my name is actually Matsuda Touta. I'm a police officer. The only reason I gave you a fake name is because of certain things back at the world I was at." He looked back over at him apologic. Matsuda took out his police badge and showed it to Sephiroth. "But I was a pop star manager to make sure nothing happened to her... If your angry with me that's fine.. but I had my reasons too since all of us have our own fake names so we don't put ourselves into danger."

He shrugged as he looked at Sephiroth wondering what he would say or do. He felt kind of nervous that he'll get yelled at. Matsuda didn't know why he felt such authority from this man but he wasn't sure if he would get used to it or not.

Sephiroth stared at Matsuda, expression unreadable. He reamained silent for a minute, before replying with any sort of words in return.

"What you did was your duty as an officer. However..." he trailed off as he closed his eyes for a second before opening them signalling the continuation to his words. "What you have just said could be in contradiction with your orders. Rest assured in knowing whether the name I am given is real or fake means no difference to me. What you fear in your world means little to me."

He thought about the words he had just spoken. They most likely weren't very reassuring at all, especially when his face held a cold distant expression. He sighed soflt, rubbing his temple.

"Please do not worry about me trying to inflict damage on you as well, I've been told to try to be good, so try I must."

Matsuda blinked as he raised an eyebrow a bit. He had thought for sure that he would have been yelled at at least a bit. He put away his badge while shrugging at him. "Sounds... comforting enough?" He chuckled as he felt slightly better that he wouldn't have to lie to Sephiroth anymore nor worry about getting smacked randomly by something.

"I guess you could be right about the contradiction. But sometimes you have to take chances even if those chances can endanger your life." He shrugged as he smiled after all. He looked at the stairs he made a groan as he didn't realize how many there had been. "Well let's hurry and get these clothes delivered!"

Matsuda started up the stairs at a medium pace jog knowing that it would take him more then that since Sephiroth would be able to catch up to him even if he went into a slight jog. He had been doing a slight jog the whole time to just keep up with the taller man.

He stood as a few seconds passed by before following. This Matsuda was energetic at the least.

He watched as Matsuda fought to keep ahead of him, or at least at the same pace of him. He walked, still behind, but for how much longer couldn't be determined. "I am hoping you know where you are going." he called out suddenly.
