Once they were at the hotel (FINALLY, Ren moaned in the back of his mind), the pair of weary travelers split up, heading their own ways to look for rooms with the promise to be in touch. Shouldering the kitten, the Sword managed to find one which was unoccupied and didn't look like it had been trashed by its previous occupants. He was making a home to raise his kitten in, after all.
Having claimed the bed by jumping on it and messing up the covers, the boy poked his head out into the hall again, pulling out his comm device to let Allen know where he was. As he hit the send button, a small fuzzy blur shot past his legs into the hall.
"Renlen!"
He dove to catch the kitten and ended up sprawled across the hall, cuddling the kitten to his chest. It was surprisingly comfortable. With Renlen trapped in the circle of his arms, Ren comfortably filled the hallway, prepared to trip anyone who dared walk his way.
