Kanda stared at the boy blankly as he explained exactly why he was wandering the streets like a lost little idiot. His blank expression quickly evolved into a scowl as Akira kept talking, ignoring his question.
"Hn. Completely useless. What the hell do I have to do to get you to tell me where the fuck I am? ...Tch...nevermind, I'll find out myself."
With that, he closed his eyes, turned around, and proceeded to walk in the opposite direction, his hand moving back to hover over the hilt of his Mugen just in case anything alien got in his way.
All of the sudden, the earth began to tremor violently...more violently, Kanda noted, than any normal earthquake...
His ears picked up distant cries...one of which he could've sworn he recognized. He stood still while the earth shook and random buildings began to crumble, inwardly bracing himself for any sort of attack...
...in this place, he admittedly didn't know just what to expect...
