Naminé sat up in her bed. She blinked and got out of her bed, careful not to wake Repliku. She passed the mirror and stopped. "I'm back to normal?"

Repliku too shook, drowzily opening his eyes to find that he too had returned to his original state. Puzzled, he walked towards Naminé. "I wonder what happened..."

She shook her head. "I'm not sure..."

"Well," he replied, scratching his chin, "I guess we don't have to worry about being short, huh?" At this he smirked, glad to be back in his original form. He had been getting pretty tired of his shortness.

She laughed. "Yes, you're right," she said, and looked at him. "I didn't like being short...well, shorter."
Repliku nodded, giving a smirk. "Yeah, but I still think you were pretty cute as a three year old," he teased, giving a wink.
She blushed slightly, smiling up at him. "So were you."

"Well, anyway," he said, "now that we're normal...is there anything you'd like to do?" There was a lot to do in this city, even in the hotel alone. THey had been doing very little over the past few days, so Rep just figured he'd suggest something.

"Hm..." she thought for a moment. "Do you think they have a bookstore or something around here?"

He tilted his head, pondering. A bookstore WOULD be something interesting. It'd probably give both of them something to do as well. So, with a nod, he replied, "Yeah, they probably have one. Or...at least a library."

"We'd have to look a bit, but at least we'd have something to do."

"Yeah," agreed Repliku. "But it'll be an adventure, won't it?"

She nodded. "Yes, it will."

"Well then," snickered the replica with a grin, "what are we waiting for? I say we should get going."

Naminé nodded. "Yes, let's!" she opened the door and stepped out into the hallway.

The two proceeded through the hotel with few interuptions. At times, a few passers by would give them strange stares, but other than that, things went well. Soon enough, they were outside, though. Now all they'd have to do is find some kinda bookstore.

She looked around and folded her arms. "Well...where should we start?"

Puzzled, Rep replied, "Well, I think there should be some stores nearby. Should we check it out?"

"Yes, we probably should," she replied.

So, the duo began to search the city, or at least, the closest block of buildings in hopes of finding an empty book store. There were quite a few empty shops. First and foremost was the clothing shop, followed by a place for shoes, decorations, anqtiques...and potions. Weird. But still, there was no sign of a book store.

"I wonder if there's even one?" she looked around at the various stores. There had to be a book store - right?

After a while, Repliku stopped, leaning against a building. THey still hadn't found a book store, which seemed rather odd. What was with this place. Either way, he sighed, "This is ridiculous..."

She nodded. "Yes, it is..." she leaned against the same building, looking up to the sky. "This is just weird..."

"Yeah, I don't get it," he admitted. "Don't they have any books here...?"

"I dunno..." she shook her head, sighing.

Repliku was admitedly about to give up, after a few more mintues of searching. It looked as if there was no bookstore in sight...however, this was quickly proven false, as one last little shop showed up saying "Rare works of Literature".

Naminé smiled. "Well, looks like we found it!"

"Yep," Repliku replied, sounding triumphant. He quickly marched towards the door, pushing it aside...though it made a loud CREEEEEEACK when he did. Either way, he stood there, allowing Nam to enter first.

"Thank you," she said, and looked around. "There's no one here..." she said, searching for a clerk.

The shop, as Nam had pointed out, was indeed devoid of any other life. Sure, there were shelves upon shelves of books, and a counter among other things, but for the most part, the place was old, musty, and filled with cobwebs. Repliku cringed. "Geeze, this place gives me the creeps."

She was skimming the shelves, which were filled with countless subjects. "Riku, I found a cookbook," she said, taking down the dusty book. She opened it. Maybe she could use this.

"Heh, cool," he replied, digging through some other books. THere had to be SOMETHING that'd interest him...

Naminé looked a bit more until something caught her eye. It was a brand new book, but that's not the thing that surprised her. Taking it off the shelf, she opened it and gasped. "Riku, I think you should see this."

Rep instantly turned his attention to Naminé, who seemed to have found something of interest. Curious, he put down the stack of books he was looking at and rushed over to her. "What is it?" he inquired.

"It says it's a graphic novel...called Kingdom Hearts." she flipped a few pages in and she just stared at the page. "This...is what happened. At the castle."

"Whoa..." he exclaimed, staring in awe at the pages. "This is....weird..." How could this be? This comic had everything that happened at the castle in it! It was INSANE. How could the authors know about that?

"Yes, it is weird..." she glanced at the shelf again and saw another one. "There's another one..." she said, taking it off the shelf.

"What does it say?" he pondered, eager to figure out what was up...

"Let's see..." she blinked. "Okay, you're in this one..." she pointed to a picture of him and Vexen.

His eyes widened. NOW things were starting to get weird. It was almost as if people had snuck in hidden cameras or something! "Ok...that's weird..."

She nodded. "Yes, definitely..." she shook her head. "Um...do you think we should show these to the others?"

"Yeah," he replied, tugging on his unusual clothing. Despite that time he had gone out in the snow with her, he really hadn't bothered changing into any new duds besides his typical dark get up. Still, that wasn't an important matter at the moment. "Anyway, uh...what now?"

"Well, I'm done here. What about you?" she asked, closing the book and setting it on top of the other and the cookbook.

He nodded, holding his own bag of novels. "Yeah, I think I'm all set. These should hold us over for now, eh?"

She nodded. "Yes, they should," she said, and opened the door.

repliku, naminé
