I just booked my flight to London for my dissertation turning-in visit next month. I even got an upgrade to premium economy class with my frequent flyer miles, so for once I'm actually excited about an international flight. And I'm doubly excited that I'm going back to London! Yay! However, I'm also depressed that my return to London has to be called a "visit." Anyway, London people: I'll be there from Aug. 31-Sep. 7, I'll be staying with Jessica, and I'll have the same mobile #, so call me, dammit. I can't wait to see everyone.
Also, I filed my taxes today (I know, I know. I was actually in the US on April 15, but my W2 was in England so I had to file for an extension. Better late than never, right?) and after more coffee I'm going to finish everything I can for my UNC SILS application. It's before noon and I've actually marked 2 things off my to do list. I'm so damn productive. Just don't ask about the dissertation.
