Whoa.

Everyone and their mother was evidently predicting California was long overdue for an earthquake, and today, we got it.

5.8 in Chino Hills (Now downgraded to 5.4). The article doesn't say how long it lasted, but it just seemed to go on and on and on. Thankfully, for those who are worried about this being a precursor to a larger quake- there's only a 5% chance of that happening now after the 2 hour mark, and will only have a 1% chance once we hit the 24 hour mark.

Thank goodness this didn't happen over the weekend- I don't even want to think about the panic and chaos from those 125,000 people crammed together at Comic-Con. I was at the bistro, and we were supremely lucky nothing broke or fell. Me, doubly so, since I was standing right under the huge racks of wine bottles and glasses. I'm home now, and the doggies and house seem to be just fine.

Everyone else all right?
