Germania
Known to him as "Mister Germania" since he actually has a father to call Vati, he respects him more than anyone except maybe himself. In a way, he's his vassal, and he follows him around as much as he can and fights alongside him, as many young men back then did. He got his shield and spear from him! In the rare occurance that he says more than a few words, he listens to him, and hangs on his every word. He learns lots about nations and faraway places and other tribes and all sorts of things, but nations interest him most, of course.
Ver-Heiliges Römisches Reich
His baby brother! Also one of Germania's vassal children, the brothers spend a lot of time together. He knows him by name, but usually just calls him "brother," even though that's what he calls all of his siblings(it's a miracle they all know who he's talking to.) He looks down on him, but is very close to him, much closer than he is to any of his other brothers. They both have quite a few cuts and injuries and scars from one another, since they fight and train very roughly. They have arguments about who will end up being an empire, when they become countries in their imagined future. Giselbert says that HRE can be his vassal when he's an empire, however.
Roman Empire
Someone he probably only knows from Germania's tales, but he may have seen him once or twice with Germania, if he lives close enough to certain places. But he'd never spoken to him, even if he has seen him. Doesn't think he'll trust him, though he does, of course, know of the empire itself from other people around him. He'd love to go one day(but he says that about most places, then says he'll add them to his empire when he's a nation.)
