Schools and governments...

Both have horkloads of nonsensical policies... the most recent one to confound my senses is that if I have a major declared, I get charged $2 more per credit hour. And since I finalized my majors this term it only showed up after my financial aid arrived, so it is preventing me from seeing my grades (should be two As and a ? for Soviet History).

I suspect, if I cancel my major and go back to undeclared, I will not be charged this fee. This seems the route to go, as the major is only important for graduation, and I can redeclare later... but I will be checking with further resources on campus when I get there today.

I am glad I have had a taste of this kind of logic before, otherwise I would be far more aggravated, but I have come to expect these hoops to jump through to get that piece of paper... and feel the end result will be more knowledge, and a higher tolerance for irritation, something that is always useful in life.
