Not just one sense, but use all five.

Sight. Gabriel shaves his head. Why? He figures if he’s going to go bald, he’ll do it his way. His hair is grey and white, shot through with odd spots of dark. He once had dark brown hair, but it’s all but gone now. His eyes are a deep blue, framed by dark eyebrows and crow’s feet. He wears a short goatee to offset his no-hair policy. Sometimes, if he’s feeling odd, he’ll grow it out a bit.

He can usually be seen in comfortable clothes; collarless buttoned shirts or a pullover. Normally, he wears longsleeves to hide the scars along the inside of his forearms. Jeans or cargo pants, sandals or sturdy shoes. Once in a while he’ll dress up, but don’t expect the traditional suit and tie. He absolutely hates ties.

6’1”, medium build, not too muscular. He’s an artist not a gymnast.

Hearing. Gabriel is from Liverpool, and it shows in the soft accent he still has. It’s been thinned a bit by travelling and being away from his birthplace for so many years, but it’s still there. His voice leans toward the gravelly when he deepens his tone, and smoothes out as it rises. When he gets angry, his accent starts to get a bit thicker. If you’re hearing scouser, you’d better back up a few steps.

Taste/Smell. Gabriel smells clean, of soap and tea and old books, as reading is what he usually does to pass his time, and also of lavender-an old habit he’d picked up from his wife, keeping a sprig or two of the plant in his wardrobe to keep his clothes fresh. He’s grateful not to smell like hospital anymore.

Touch. These days, Gabriel has soft, pale skin from being indoors a bit too much. His peachfuzz hair is soft as well, once it has a few days to go past the prickly stage. Still too thin, giving him a hug might feel like embracing a skeleton, but he’s working on that; and for all his bony qualities, he’s normally very warm, even if he doesn’t feel it. The scars on his arms and on his chest are not smooth, and can be found in the dark with exploring fingertips. His feet are calloused from abandoning shoes more than wearing them, and once in a while he has to take a pumice stone to them to smooth them out.
