Fun/Productive = Happy Ellen

Ah, pretty productive day so far! --makes me happy.

Got up this morning, went to church. We had a pretty nice crowd this morning--Ricky & his family, Mike Lapinto, Greg's mom, Shane & his family. And, Joe watched on TV...all the way up 'til the preaching. Then he fell asleep. But I don't blame him. Honestly, I was falling asleep myself, and as I looked around the sanctuary, more than TWO choir members on the very front row fell asleep during the sermon. And not just shutting/resting their eyes, but actually drifted off--gone--into La-la land! lol--gotta' love Main St.

But anyway, picked up some McAlister's and came home to snuggle. Joe makes me smile. he gave me a compliment today...just kinda' randomly, walking out the door, "You're so cute." awww, yay!

2:30 met up with Tabitha & Chad. They're really freakin' cool. But to tell the truth, we spend more time goofing off than we do actually 'getting work done.' Four hours later, Tab and I totally have a kick-butt conversation to present for our Spanish mid-term. "Mi perrito...esta en el hospital? Por que? El comio un nino pequeno? No me digas!" LOL --makes me happy. Anyway, I gotta' work on memorization.

So yeah, I'm about to hit the music building for the night. that, and laundry. eventually. oh, and i need to reprint the first pages of teacher candidacy packet. no problem. situation under control.
.........................

10:30 now. Totally hit the practice room for 2 hours tonight. It was perfect practice-weather in the FAB. Today's the first day I actually feel "prepared" for my lesson tomorrow. I memorized the first page of McDowell's "Witch's Dance," along with THREE pages of Rachmanioff's "Elegy," AND I started a new piece. It's a combination of "Majesty" mixed with Chopin's "Polonaise in A." CHOPIN--IS--DA--MAN!!! *Sigh of relief*

Hooray! My laundry is done!

And, I'm totally home at a decent hour, so I can...you know, sleep. (whatever that is) Cooooooool
